#1 📌 Parent Tips of the Week

At Cabarrus County Schools, we believe that excellent customer service is a vital part of creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Whether it’s answering a phone call, greeting families at the front desk, or responding to a question through email or on ParentSquare, every interaction matters.

We want every experience with our schools—whether in person, online, or over the phone—to reflect the care and dedication we have for our community.

Did You Know?
  • The best way to update your contact information is either in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by calling your school’s data manager. Keeping your contact info current ensures you don’t miss important messages and maintains your connection to both Infinite Campus and ParentSquare.
  • Our district and school websites all contain a menu item called, "I want to" where you can find our most frequently searched for items. Our websites are also completely searchable (click the hourglass) and have an A-Z Index where our most requested information is listed in alphabetical order. Please email cabcoschools@cabarrus.k12.nc.us if a link is broken, and we'll get that corrected.
  • ParentSquare is the main way Cabarrus County Schools communicates with families. We understand, at times, that a lot of information is communicated. You can choose how (email, text, or app) and when (instant or daily digest) you receive notifications. Find out about controlling your user experience here: ParentSquare Parent Q&A
  • Our schools use K-12 Payment Center for general school fees and LINQ Connect for meal payments. Applications for free or reduced lunch can be submitted here: F&R Meal Applications.

#2 Need-to-Knows

INFINITE CAMPUS UPDATE-MORE FEATURES COMING AUGUST 29th: The Infinite Campus Parent Portal is now available for families to connect with their student’s information. You can follow the step-by-step directions on this document (bit.ly/CCSCampusPortal) to set up your account. For more insight into Infinite Campus, please visit the CCS Infinite Campus hub here: https://www.cabarrus.k12.nc.us/infinitecampus.
At this time, the parent portal will not display student schedules or grades. Starting Friday, August 29, student schedules will be visible for all grade levels, and assignments/grades will be available for middle and high school students. This timeline ensures schedules are accurate and that teachers are ready to share grades in this new platform. We encourage you to log in now so you’re ready to view your student’s schedule and grades when they go live. Once activated, the Parent Portal will be your go-to place to stay updated on your student’s progress. For questions or to update your contact information in the Student Information System, please contact your child's school.
